HAWK® is always on the lookout of new technologies. In a recent collaboration with Tecnológico de Monterrey campus Guadalajara, HAWK® invited students of Industrial Design to participate in a new project in order to generate Wearables, using high-end technologies. The challenge was to apply Wearable technologies into Fall Protection Equipment.
Wearables are already among us, even if sometimes we don’t realize it. Every day more watches, glasses and clothes integrated with Wearable technology are beginning to be part of our lives. Wearables have changed the technological industry forever, improving the quality and productivity in items and devices that we use daily in our work and at home. HAWK® is always on the lead regarding Innovation, Research and Development, that’s why we decided to create an environment where universities could contribute in the generation of innovative products to assure entirely, as always, the safety of our users.
Among the concepts presented were intelligent bracelets, helmets with augmented reality, airbag systems, and gloves with radio-communication, you could sense the atmosphere filled with quality and innovation. The synergy was at its highest point.
The participants showed their concepts and prototypes before our experts, bringing up the key elements required to integrate high-end technology in each one of our products, reaching the optimal personalization and understanding of risk situations to assist you in the best way possible.
